This baby’s been floating around fleetingly on the interwebs over the past few years, but today, Flume’s Possum, an unreleased gem, gets an official stream on Transgressive Records’ soundcloud. I’ve actually never encountered Possum prior to today, and it begs a share.
Just a few days ago we premiered the debut full length mix from GLADPVCK, the new collaborative project between LA booming producers gLAdiator and LOUDPVCK. Well after months of being played out by countless DJs, the monster anthem “Tony” from the duo has now been released. “Tony” was born & raised in the trap by this deadly quartet of producers and features a build up of big drum effects and heavy synths before a drop that I’d compare to “someone kicking down the door and robbing you of all your worldly possessions” takes this to a whole new level.
Almost a full calendar year has passed since the release of iconic bass heavyweight Flux Pavilion’s Freeway EP. This remix is a collaborative effort between Flux himself and fellow bass icon Kill the Noise as the two come together to add a new spin to the single “Freeway”. With a surprising change of pace, the two producers cast trap drum effects on-top of the original dubstep structure to create something infectiously clever that highlights the original vocals just right.
Turn the speakers all the way up and kiss your eardrums goodbye thanks to the debut single from Atlanta transplant and OWSLA / Never Say Die producer Must Die! and his highly anticipated upcoming album Death and Magic. His first release off the new album is the single ”Hellcat”, a track which many of you have heard being played out from the likes of Skrillex, Dillon Francis and many other over the past few months. The anthem starts off with a thumping eletro pattern that builds up the anticipation before a frenzy of wonky bass kicks and gritty synths hits take this to a whole new level of turning up!
